    Ads With Sound

    In the "Please Don't Disappoint" thread of the Various Topics section there is an "The Para 1911 Black Ops" ad. This ad automatically has sound when the user clicks onto this page. While there is a button that says "Mute Sound," I've clicked on it multiple times while it does nothing.

    It's bad enough being surprised by having that sound coming out of the computer unexpectedly, but not being able to turn it off is very unacceptable. I'm sure many people would have issues at work if they encountered this situation while browsing this forum while working (break time or not).

    May I suggest that ads of this nature not be accepted in the future?

    Ill agree with this...gets really annoying when I have several tabs open and am trying to find out which one is playing the add

    I'm surprised there are still people who don't use Adblock Plus.

    Yeah....that ad is annoying. So is the giant Scotch tape ad that pops up when you accidentally mouse over it.
