    Glock 30 shoots high!

I just purchased a glock 30 gen 4, and it consistently shoots high. I shot my glock 27 and 22 at the same time and it was dead on. I can't imagine it's that much different shooting a glock 30. I did sone research and saw the glick comes with a higher rear sight but the same front sight. that makes no sense. I'm thinking if I put a standard rear sight on it, it will fix that? I just don't wanna compensate for another problem if it's not normal .

Have you tried benching it yet? That way it'll rule out human error for the most part

A high rear sight would put you down, not up. Let some other shooters at that 30 and see if they have the same result.

I have a G30, and it shoots fine. If you have stock white dot sights, or a reputable after market sight, designed for the G30, I would bet it's not the sights. One thing different with the 30 is the grip, your talking a double stacked .45 ACP, sub-compact. It's much fatter than the 22/27. It sounds like a grip issue, possibly "milking" your grip.

Backwards. Taller rear sight, have to raise front sight to meet it, raise front sight, raise point of impact.

Actually... It will put you high.
The muzzle-end will have to come up to have proper sight alignment.

Glocks are so pefect that they remade "Red Dawn" so it could be featured in it. Then 007 will get a Glock too

If I was 007, I'd shoot a Kahr. Not because Kahr is special, but because they advertise with hot women. It's very simple.

Our Gen 4 35's had the same issue and Glock told us they put the wrong sights on them. Glock corrected the problem by sending us the right sights.

well i swapped the sight for a standard glock sight and its much better. Doesn't make sense why they put a higher rear sight on .45s. they should still be equal!
