    Blue Island

    Hey I have a friend that got called for Blue Island and was wondering if anyone had any information on their department such as pay, morale, etc. I grew up 5 minutes from it and recently transferred to a southwest suburban department and don't know too much about them. All I know is man how the area has changed.

    We share a radio band with BI. They are a busy department. I've met a few of their guys on calls and all seemed great. Your friend will stay busy that's for sure. I don't know about their pay or anything.

    I went to the academy with 3 BI guys....one of them didnt make it past FTO...The two that made it love it.

    lol...wrote one yesterday. Four movers, 3 reports, two arrest and a tow sheet. Ran out of time to get in to too much trouble due to all of the other crazy stuff that people call for.
