    Philly PD salaries???

    anyone know the salaries of the upper ranks of Philly PD???

    I know police officer is 58k, and sgt would be about 66k, but what about Lt., Cpt., Inspecter., etc.???

    The man was 302'd... He by his own admission is not eligible for employment as a police officer in the state of PA. Why should he ask questions when it will come out to an argument. Read some of his prior posts.

    75K LT ....90K Captain.....over 110k Inspector

    Their Capt's make the same as our patrolmen.
    Being a good street cop is like coming to work in a wet suit and peeing in your pants. It's a nice warm feeling, but you're the only one who knows anything has happened.

    Im making 61k base as a police officer with Phila, plus stress pay, holiday hours check and uniform allowance. Puts you at about 68k, with a couple court notices a week and an overtime detail here and there, I havent made less the 85k in the last 5 years. Add in some of the best Health benefits in the country for free, its not a bad place to work. Of course I would love to make more in the burbs. but i'm not starving.
