Poster In my Office
I got an office !!!! I got promoted so now I have an office. I actually have been in there for about a month now and several people have commented that my office looks depressing because nothing is on the wall so I have been trying to find a poster or somthing to hang on the wall. Does anyone have any ideas. Or links to where I could find some artwork or posters online. Lots of the guys in my division have sports stuff up but I am not really a sports guy.

I have a Gadsden flagon my wall.
It's really more of a notification than a decoration.

but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men,
for they act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible.....”

I put the 3 foot by 5 foot version of this flag up in our office. Everyone seems to like it.

We recently moved upstairs in the courthouse and we got individual offices. I feel your pain about decorating...I cant make a decision either. All I have hanging now is a county map lol.
Im thinking I might go with movie posters (TOPGUN, Aliens, Red Dawn, or cool movies like those).
On a similar note, MD. I have that x-files poster hanging in my house...THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!

Congratulations on your promotion. Here is some honest advice. Decorate your office in a way that tells people you are already looking forward to your next promotion. Cute or macho is not the way to go. Bring or enhance an image of professionalism.

I highly suggest getting access to a nice, large format color printer, and making some of your own:

I had that in my office framed, yet mine fortunately lacked the man running in a suit.
I also had some funny articles clipped out and pinned on a bulletin board, a newspaper article about myself, framed patches from places I've worked, an Arkansas Razorbacks football and baseball schedule, a few plaques, some other award garbage that I felt obligated to hang up, and a periodic table of elements.
You'll be surprised at the questions you'll get asked if you have a periodic table on your office wall.
