I have been looking for some law enforcement training books to get a different perspective on how other officers do traffic stops, drug interdiction, and so on.
They are an over whelming amount of books and some of them are dated.
Does anyone know of any books they would reccomend? Id prefer to read them on a kindle or any cheap book from amazon would do.
These books look interesting but little pricey..
Tactics for Criminal Patrol by Charles Remsberg
Thanks

Well for one. You are not reading the TOS correct. Don't post in here.
Second, why not become a LEO first and learn the job. Books aren't always the way to go IMHO...
That book series by Charles Remsberg so supposed to be pretty good but its $$$. I don't know if it is worth it but SOME tactics don't really change that much over time and if you read something that you know from your current training is BS, just disregard it. Absorb what is useful. Also check out www.calibrepress.com
They usually have some good books but always double check their price against amazon. Sometimes one or the other will be a lot cheaper. Good Luck
