As an update, I have recently completed the IS-660 (Intro to Public-Private Partnerships) and can offer the following: It is a relatively short course, but it does touch on the importance of building partnerships within local communities; more so in this resource constrained environment. It provides a snapshot of guiding principles and the roadmap to building these partnerships.

I would recommend both of these courses based on my experience, if for nothing other than providing some additional awareness of the subjects. In addition, the opportunity to garner some free training from a recognized partner is reason enough.
I just completed IS-910 in less than 45 minutes, pretty basic stuff, easy reading comprehension. I had forgotten about FEMA courses so thanks for the reminder and I know what I'm doing for the rest of my sick leave.
