I hear ya..I still look at the July 2011 thread though. There's always things to learn and it's good to be ahead of the curve! But, July 2012 academy here we come!!!

i really wanna be in the January class but there's no way that's happening for other reasons. i think 8051 will get in but it's more likely for July so it all works out. my credit's not the greatest; not godawful but not something a supervisor would look at and feel filled w/ confidence. there's only 3 things on it that affected my score in a negative way but ALL three things will be completely paid in full by February. besides that, there's my student loans which i am never late on. but being able to turn in an updated financial status thing that shows three major accounts fully paid will look very good.

Damn, I suppose it's too late for January to get all that squared away now, but it's best to get that all done ASAP. Good luck to you and to all....

I just wanted to know if anyone with list # 4600 or higher received any letter for their medical exam??? I finalized my APD-5 form on Aug 23, and when I called the NYPD candidate relations.. they told me that i will be receiving my medical letter in a month. However, It's been almost 4 months past and i still haven't received anything about the medical exam. If anyone with any helpful information can help, I will appreciate it. Thank You

Don't worry about it...They aren't doing initial medicals right now or much else for the time being except mini meds. I keep seeing that processing will be done in Feb for the July class and it still really just depends on how many go into that one whether or not you're in. I suggest to call in January and get the ball rolling again then.

Yeah i get what you saying. Those stupid APD cops gave me false hope, talking about most of 8132 people was gonna get hired for this January class. Most of the time they just talk b/s because they dont wanna deal with you. But yeah lets hope I get something in Feb... and Thanks for the info =]

No problem...Lol..we are all in the same boat..I was looking forward to getting into January's class too...oh well, I know I will use the time productively and July will be here in no time!

Exam 7011 expires June 23, 2012. Does that mean youre pretty much screwed as far as getting into July? Calls would go out late June. What if youre Ready For Hire?

Exam 0321, things moving along well , i did my medical, written and oral psych (passed), invst told me i was for January 2012, just called me yesterday (on thanksgiving) and told me i'm going to see her in 2 weeks,, but not looking good for jan but deff jujy,, good luck to all!!!!!!!.

My mini med is scheduled for Dec 7th!! Last part of the process for me!! Still pretty sure it's gonna be July for me! 800 or so in Jan and BIG class in July!!
