Zombie Apocalypse
Ok, so the Zombie Apocalypse has arrived, and you can carry three firearms.
What would they be and why?"Character is someone you are when no one is watching."

If its what i own i have to pick the only 3 guns i have.... Glock 22, Remington 700 .223 and soon to own Ruger SR 22...
If its just for argument i would say, Benelli M4, Some kind of AR15 most likely chambered in 6.8mm and a decision between a pistol and a Ruger SR 22....
thats if ammo was of no concern.... if ammo is of concern .22 and 9mm products all the way.... probably gonna be tough finding 6.8 in the zombie apocalypse...

Well in the movies etc shotgun blast seems to be a one hit wonder for zombies (see call of duty black ops). I would have to think that 3 shotguns would be the way to go.
The sooner you understand that all your base are belongs to me the better off you will be.

Can I get a hummer? 'Cause it'd come in handy for the .50 mounted gun I'd like to have...Flame-thowers always seem effective in the movies, though it seems a bit of a tactical mistake to have a bunch of fireballs walking around...then something with low recoil for the Victoria's Secret models that I'll be protecting (we did say hypothetical right?, gotta repopulate).

American 180 for the zombies...doesn't matter how big the cartridge is, since you have to hit them in the head. http://world.guns.ru/smg/usa/american-10-e.html Mossberg 500 series 12 gauge with interchangeable barrels for hunting/defense. Wilson M1911 for jackwagons who think they're going to take anything of mine.

Walter PPK and a shotgun. Then I'd give One Adam a call and see if he'd be willing to barter for use of his BFG and that rocket launcher I know he has hidden in his basement.

Glock 17, AR-15 variant and Mossberg 590. If I can sneak in another gun, I'd go for Ruger 10/22.

Ak47
Glock
SAW"The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence...
Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land... The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa."
Until the wolf shows up. Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog."

I'll just use my Mossy 590A1 with a whole bunch of 00 and some slugs. I don't wanna be weighed down with a bunch of rifles. The slugs will make my shotgun good to at least 75 yards which is more than plenty in the case of a zombie apocalypse. I may also use my 9mm Glock as 9mm is plentiful in case I run out.

What about a grenade launcher? I mean, you're not going to kill them all, so even if you blow legs off to slow them down, you can live to fight another day. I'm guessing that ammo might be a problem though...

P90 for close combat
AK-47 for immediate area
M107A1 for long distance picking off.

Probably a Ruger 10/22 with a silencer.
An Ar-15/M-forgery
A glock 22.
If I had a 4th choice it would be a shotgun. Probably a 12 gauge 870 with a folding stock.
You can take down a ton of the walking dead with a the ability to carry an insane amount of ammo with a 22lr.
The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

There are two issues. Ammo availability and ammo capacity.
If ammo supply was assured:
FN P90
FN Five-seveN
If ammo had to be scavenged:
M-4 with 100 round Sure-Fire mags
XDm 9mm (full size)
In all cases a Ruger 10/22 with silencer as Monkeybomb said.
