Which Weapons do you Confiscate

"Just so you know officer, I'm armed. I have a .357 in my waistband, a shotgun in front of my seat on the floor, a 6" hunting knife in the glove box, bear pepper spray in the console, a baseball bat in the back seat, an axe and 30.06 laying across the floor in back and a stick of dynamite in the trunk. I'm a rancher and was blowing up some beaver ponds while I checked my traplines and I was also hunting. I'm on the way home now."

Some of you have said (and fervently defended your reasoning), you would (temporarily) disarm anyone who told you they were armed. Which of these weapopns would you take until the stop was completed.

If not all of them, why would you let him keep some?

+1 sounds like alot of farmers/ranchers around here. Older farmer/rancher would probably get a warning about all the loaded rifles, but Mr. Gangbanger doing the same would have a bad day.

Can't confiscate here, the firearms are legal and I can’t order him to disarm unless he poses a threat. We have fewer powers than American officers when it relates to firearms, which is ironic since we don't have the second amendment!

Yes we do have the Second Amendment but unfortunately we had a bunch of socialist bastards (also known as liberals, Democrats and moderate / liberal "Republicans") take a giant SH*T on the Constitution in recent years. Mean while the people just keep drinking the cool aid.

Hah, not that easy. Our firearms policy comes from our traditions in the past. Instead of teaching the “Don’t touch, leave the area” system, children here are taught the safe use of firearms from a young age. We tend to attribute that to our low gun crime rate, rather than the actual carrying.

Immigration is easy, but I doubt you’d like the climate! Hope for the best for you guys, I hear the political debate all the time online. It’s always red vs. blue, focusing on the sides rather than the issues. A government divided is a government which falls; didn’t your founding fathers say that political parties were bad? Just my 2 cents.

That's how we were taught and feel about firearms in the south . It's the those dang liberal, Yankee carpetbaggers that screwed it up for us freedom loving southerners. Anyways laws have been passed that are allegedly suppose to protect children and us from ourselves in regards to firearms. Some of us aren't buying that logic and see it for what it really is about... gun control!
Thankfully more legislatures (northern and southern states) are trying to change things back to what they once were in regards to firearms.

Better have the paperwork from the licensed pharmacy/store for the pepper spray and make sure it is the correct grade, or he'd be arrested.

Better hope he is licensed to carry the dynamite. Also better hope it is in the correctly marked and certified magazine to hold said explosives. Also better hope he has paperwork from the commission dealing with explosives saying you're authorized to transport it to such and such place. Every time you want to move explosives around you have to get permission.

well MOST of those "type" tend to also JOIN LE, and especially now, DHS( hot ticket still to be in FED LE, especially when local and state LE are limited due to the economy)- only a few that you type cast are sad enough to drop into the fringe and fit that profile, but i DOUBT it has anything to do with voting conservative( unless you think being conservative makes you anti american values, like DIVERSITY or liberty, or freedom of expression and opinion) or belonging to the military- unless you think that a few losers like McVeigh,are actually "conservative"-, or "white"( is this a lame attempt at suggesting that white males are somehow "victims" in this society? if so, by whom????) anyone ,from the "hood" to the "woods",and the suburb in the middle can fit the terrorist profile.

confiscate any gun that meets the criteria of an illegal act,if there is a statute in the state you reside and work in that forbids its particular possession or the manner in which it is possessed- if not, point is moot.... gun owner or possessor goes is or her way
