Beaufort County sheriff ?

I'm thinking of moving to SC from MA. I was wondering if anyone had info on Beaufort Cty, like pay, OT, equipment, schedule, time off etc. I sent my resume down and have been in touch with the hiring dept. I was told that my time with the sheriffs office in ma's can transfer over.
Do you have any info on retirement? any other info will be great. thank you
