Everyone knows that Garbage Plates are the pride of Upstate New York. Who has had 'em and who likes 'em?

I feel very manly when I am able to finish off an entire garbage plate from Nick Tahou's (and it doesn't count if you don't eat the bread too). I prefer the cheeseburger plate and douse it in ketchup. Of course, what we all really go for is the atmosphere because I love any restaurant that needs a bouncer (a bit of sarcasm). I haven

garbage plates are being sold in the carolinas now yes from a ex rochester guy.... he calls them trash plates..

have not had one myself in a long time...

Garbage Plate....good ole rochester. Gota love it! Nick's is still open 24 hrs on Lyell, but not downtown.

the concept has been copied many times tho, now you can go to empire hots, fairport hots, insert name and find the same thing but nicks is still the best.

they even sell "garbage plates " in NC and SC from rochester transplants now.
