Ohio Corrections Officer Wounded At OSU...

By now, some of you Buckeyes have no doubt heard about the shooting of a state Corrections Officer at the Ohio State University Medical Center at approx. 1500 hours this afternoon. His assailant, was ironically, another Corrections Officer who was arrested by the OSU police department shortly after the incident. His attacker is currently in our custody at the Franklin County jail. I am not privy to the reasons for his shooting aside from speculation and rumors that I've heard........which I will not disclose on this forum.

I am pleased to say, however, that I had the opportunity to speak to this officer while I was posted to a hospital watch at OSU this very same evening. He is in stable condidtion, and in good spirits....... but still in alot of pain. His co-workers all speak highly of him, and I regret to see one of our own purposefully attempt to take the life of his own co-workers. I hope that all my fellow Ohio LEO's will pause for a moment and keep him in your thoughts. I will put out more information on this topic as it becomes availible.
