By JOE MIZER, T-R Staff Writer

The passage of a Senate bill in Columbus Thursday that would loosen residency requirements for police officers and firefighters statewide is being welcomed with open arms by Dover Police Capt. Robert Everett, president of Tuscora Lodge No. 4 of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Great news. Currently Deputies have to live in county where they are employed or adjoining. Not fair to restrict since no one ever gets called in anyway.
