Question Retiree Shield?
When I was on the job I remember a retired guy showing me his retired ID in a case with a shield but the shield did not have his old shield number on it. It was not a dupe. It was an exact copy of an NYPD shield except that where the numbers were was the word "RETIRED". Now that I am retired I was looking around to see if I could find one and I can't. Anyone ever see one or know any place that sells them or how I could go about getting one? I will be in NY in a few weeks.
