CHP Question..

Hi all,

Thank you for answering all my questions that I have.

Okay.. how long does it take for the CHP to process my application that I sent into them. From the time I sent it in until I hear from them to say whether I can go take the written test. Or do I just go on my own ad take it. I got some informationa telling me what region/where I am suppose to go.

We changed to testing only twice a year instead of once a quater recently. I think the webpage reflects that.

Okay let me see if I can ask this right.

Okay I already have the test dates in a packet I got in the mail.

But what I want to know is. Do I have to wait to hear from someone with the CHP before I go take the written or do I just go on my own without knowning whether I made it thru the first process.

Aren't you the same one whom pmed me to? I am assuming you are a CHP Officer?

they will send you the info in the mail regarding your test date and location. i personally dont like how they are testing once a year. we need the people!

I have applied to other places. I just hate to wait. Thanks CHPMarine. I thought that might be the case.
