The Will County Sheriff's Merit Commission is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff, which must be received by March 8, 2002.

The starting salary is $34,517 with benefits. Uniforms & training are provided.

REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Citizen, 21 years of age, valid Driver's License. Associate's degree or a minimum of 60 semester hours or a minimum of 90 quarter hours of college credits. Must establish residency in Will County within 1 year from date of employment. No felony convictions. SELECTION PROCESS: Written exam. Job related physical exam. Personality evaluation. Polygraph. Medical exam including drug screening. Oral inter view. In-depth background investigation.
