Police FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR The KCMO Police Dept. is now accepting applications for the position of Firearms Instructor within the Training Division. Duties include providing basic and advanced firearms training to police officer candidates, remedial training and qualification for law enforcement members, developing lesson plans, practical exercises and other training aids, as well as maintaining equipment and ammunition. Instruction will involve classroom work and firing range practice. Must possess high school diploma, valid drivers license, be POST certifiable as a Specialist Instructor, have five years of law enforcement experience as a peace officer with two years as a firearm instructor. Salary starting at $3,207 monthly. Obtain application at any KCMO Police Facility.
