Hey all,
I just heard that as of Jan 01 2001 the state of california has decided to ban ownership of glock handguns for civilians.
Is this true I hope not California's my home state ( I now live in Oregon) Which has no real gun laws per say. Is this constitutional or not. I can't find any info on this but I know there are people on this board that can answer this question I HOPE

Thanx again

This has been a rumor circulating on the net for quite some time. CA will NOT be banning Glocks; they have submitted sample guns as required by law; the trigger safety on the Glock is being considered a manual safety meeting the laws requirements.

There are some good websites out there that contain info on gun laws and bills that are being proposed. There is some scary stuff in the works, especially in California. http://www.officer.com/ubb/eek.gif

Don't be suprised by any proposal coming out of the People's Republic of California.
