Friend of mine said this was a bad one. Something about maybe involving fingerprinting & $50 tax or something per gun. http://www.senate.gov
search on sb-2099
Lot to read.
Anyone familier with this one? Something to be concerned about?

There's a website, put on by the Government (silly people...if you want to take away peoples rights, don't let them read the stuff that would let it happen!) that you can visit to read ALL about EVERY bill in congress right now, who supports it, and where it's at currently. The link is:

Just click on the 106th session, and then browse away. The particular bill you're talking about would charge the manufacturers $50 for every firearm they make. Yes, EVERY one they produce. And for added confiscation bonus, the bill would make it mandatory for EVERY person who owns a gun to register them with, get this, THE IRS!! That's right, folks, so they can tax your rights. And of course, after registration comes....that's correct! Confiscation! Aren't you glad we live in a free country!
If you don't believe me, here's a direct link to the bill.

1984? We've already been there, and gone past.

Word is, this bill is dead in the water. Still, scary that they would even entertain it. Sorta like when Moynihan wanted a 1000% tax on ammo. Stupid! Did he think all LEO's get ammo from their agency? Not!I pay for my stuff over the counter.
