Are there any special grants or financial aid programs for people wanting to attend a post academy in California?

I have never heard of any financial aid for attending an academy. Although, the GI BIll will help you out if that is an option. I am in CA.

My problem is that all of the City PD's within 300 miles of me require 30-60 college units before they will even consider sending you to a academy, and none of the SO's have a cadet program. The cost of the Academy itself is not the problem, my living expenses and vehicle costs are the only things holding me back. To bad we cant all have a relitive support you while your going to school.
