Lima PD

Just curious if there are any of their officers on here or anyone from the surrounding area. If there is I was curious about whats the best way to get on with LPD after I return from being deployed.

I dont live any where near Lima lol...but im betting there like most dept's in ohio. Pretty much just gotta wait till they give the civil service test, signe up for it, take it and cross your fingers!

lol, yea thats what I was thinking.. I was thinking more along the lines of particular things they look for and if I need to attend an academy for applying or they could set me up. I've rode with LPD a few times and never thought to ask. :o

Yes, a civil service test is the first part. Lima PD is in the process now of hiring a couple people from past test. And how you score on the test ranks you for the first cut. Keep an eye out for the tests.
