Dade County/Miami Beach

So the County is taking their time on my Application(took the Pscyh on Jun 2nd and havent heard a word) I know they are on a freeze and from what I hear they have all the recruits they need for the next 2 academys in January.
So I was wondering if anybody here works for the beach or has some info on when they will start hiring again?

Last I heard from MB was possibly hiring around Oct. (that was NOT set in stone).
