Oakland PD Expedited Process

Just wondered if anyone knows how the out of state expedited process works for Oakland? I am pursuing law enforcement after several years in another field. I want to work in a big city, with a lot going on as it sounds Oakland is. And since they are aggressively hiring, that a plus for me. I know I can do this on the East Coast, but I just want to come West. If there are any officers, recruiters, etc. w/OPD that could provide me with some good info. it'd be appreciated.

well i did the first part of the out of state process since im from chicago; First part is gonna be the the written, then the physical, then the written pysch and first tier background. You will need to be there friday thru monday, but i didnt think it was to difficult; just go on the oakland pd website and you'll get a email asking u to pick a weekend to go over there.
