CDCR sept 2 academy????

I just got a letter from CDCR saying I have completed the entire process, I guess I am just waiting for an academy date. I have herd rumors that they are going on a hiring freeze. Does anyone know anything about the upcoming Sept 2nd academy?

Don't worry abaut that there still going to run academys, there just not accepting applications until a later date.

I am in BI stage now and soon I will have the fun of the POPE interview. How was it? Is it hard or stressful? I have a few friends with the CDCR and they still need lots of body's so no more apps but yes still running academies.

i dont know if its the same for everyone but my physc. interview was not stressfull at all quite easy if you ask me. just go in and act like you know what your doing

c/obound what kind of things did they ask you? is it all stuff from your background packet? thanks

he had a few questions from my background, a couple from the actual test. he asked about my family life, mom, dad, childhood growing up, he really just sat down and had converstion getting to know me i guess

Cool, I thought it was like a formal 3 panel interview. I have nothing in my background clean as can be, and my background should be clearing soon.

c/o bound. I initially applied in Dec of 2007 and I am now in backgrounds. How long did the entire process take? I just got a letter two months ago informing me my case had been assigned a BI.

my whole process took just under a year but im still waiting for an academy date which at this point seems like its never going to come

C/O bound. Did you do your psyc and medical at the same time? What testing location did you go through. I am going through Rancho.

no my physc and my med. were two months apart. i went through the fresno testing location

Does anyone have any updates on their progress in the CDCR hiring process? My file got assigned a BI in June and I still have not heard anything yet.

I also started in June and nothing yet no word not even a call or letter. I am sure that means all is good. right

Just got my appt. for medical exam(Sept. 18) and have to send in some Army medical papers to Phyc. then I get an appt. I'm hoping to get everything done before the November Acdamey... Wish me luck and prayers...
