There is a new Budweiser commerical which has Military Troops walking through the airport. The room is quiet until the other people see the troops walking through and stand up and start to clap.
That commercial brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you to all the Military!:)

It's what should happen at every airport.

Fantastic commercial.
Had that happen to us once in Atlanta. Small group of us flew into there waiting for a connecting flight wearing our DCUs. Whole section of the airport clapped for us, and everything we wanted, magazines, gum, food, was paid for.
There are some decent people out there.

They also produced a 9/11 tribute commercial. They have a great video production team.

This commercial has been around for a couple of years now. It is both motivating and moving. I hope it is indicative of what happens when our troops go anywhere in the States in public.
It's too bad this kind of thing didn't happen to our troops during the Vietnam War. For the most part, it was just the opposite back then. Guess the general public finally "gets it."
Thank you to all our service men and women...

A group of individuals. 20 or so, stand out in front of the VA office every Friday waving flags and waving to people. For the most part, we get waves and honks of support. But the best part was one Friday seeing a few Hummers and big rigs( Duece and a Halfs I think) drive by and made a big old ruckus.

On my way back from Iraq the pilot announced that we were on our way back, he let us off the plane first, everybody clapped, and they shook our hands on the way out. Coool stuff.
