City of Boston Inspectional Services Code Enforcement Police...

What use of force options do they carry ?

I know that other City of Boston LEAs like the Boston Schools Police are restricted to carrying batons...

No weapons at all, at least the last I saw.

To my knowledge BPD are the only LEO's from city of boston that are armed, other agencies in the area may be armed such as Univ. PD's and MSP but I do not believe that any other Boston agency is armed. However I am unsure about enforcement and arrest powers.

I figured that these officers wouldn't be armed, it being Massachusetts and all; but was wondering if they carried batons or pepper spray considering they have the title of "Code Enforcement Police"...
