I'm looking for a pouch to two hold two auto pistol magazines in front of each other. Ie: a pouch the width of one magazine that holds two. Ie: set your mags on top of each other. I'm running out of room because of the taser and my miniature waist, I've moved my belt around a number of times, right now I'm only carrying one extra mag in a single pouch because of space limitations. I'd like a pouch that's the same width as a single mag pouch that holds two mags one in front of the other.

Anyone know where I can get one or is this something that I'd have to get made at a saddle shop/leather shop? There's got to be something premade out there!

Just my two cents, but I can't think of too much on your belt that would be more important than extra handgun rounds. You should also consider the location on your belt, i.e. both my cuff pouches are on the back of my duty belt. I've worn it this way since my Academy, but if its a new location for you make sure you practice, practice, practice to get that muscle memory down. Other suggestions, if you carry your cuffs in two single pouches maybe you should consider carrying two sets in a double pouch and use the 'extra' space for your second magazine. Or perhaps if you have a cell phone on your belt maybe you should ditch that. Hope these ideas help.

Be safe,
jc

A couple of our skinnier officers here were experimenting with a magazine/handcuff combo. the Handcuffs fit in a small space between the magazines and your belt. It kind of stuck out funny but I think they liked it. Not sure who makes it though or where you could get one but if you can find one it might help.

I don't know if I articulated myself well enough so I took a picture to explain what I'm talking about. I'm looking for a pouch to hold two Sig 226 double stack magazines in the manner shown in the picture. Thanks.

jc2545, how did you steal my exact post...lol! ;) You made all the points I would have so +1 to you. I have a 36 inch waist, and carry a Springfield XD45 Tactical, and those mags are huge, and I carry FOUR extras. I use a double cuff case and it helps a ton. Ammo is one items I would never spare. But I am lucky, on my PD we can wear nylon and mix and match any brand of gear we want to our liking, so that helps a ton. If I was stuck with old-school leather, maybe I would have run out of room too because leather takes up much more room that nylon.

I would see if bladetech makes a single mag pouch with techlocks- then you could stack two singles as you describe. I know you can do that to get a quad mag pouch. . .

checks google

I think two of these (http://www.blade-tech.com/Single-Magazine-Pouch-with-Tek-Lok-IDPA-APPROVED-pr-834.html) should clip together like you want.

just a suggestion. You this style of carry a lot with Rifle mags- not so much in competition, but some of my friends have old web gear and such that carries how you describe.
