hey guys, I'm an out of towner here so bare with me. First off, when does the nypd have exams I looked on the website and it says something about filing for an exam in october. but inanother section it says you can take in in lower manhattan any time so when is it? ps sorry for the bad grammar

you can pretty much take it whenever.. heres the number.. call them up

1-212-RECRUIT if they are nice to you, enjoy it because theya re probably the only people who are going to be nice. lol

I also went on the recruit website and noticed they offer an NYPD test in October but the problem is I live about 30 miles north of Syracuse NY. Would I have to drive all the way to New York City to take the test or are there testing locations closer to where I live?

Most of them are in NYC, but sometimes they do free walk in test around the state.

they allow you to do everything in a short period of time for people who live far away.. i forget what its called.. just talk to the recruiters im sure they will help u

Quest program, but that's after you get your list # and exam #.
