Greetings everyone.
The basics:
I'm originally from the east coast (that's where the screen name comes from) but I've been living in southern California for almost 12 years now. I'm 35 years old and currently work as a web developer.
Why I'm here:
Simply put, it's time for a career change. :)
I've been poking around and lurking on the site for about a month now and I figured since I'm about to start testing, filling out apps, etc. it's time to introduce myself.
I've always had a general interest in law enforcement and a sort of dream to work as a police officer. I never gave it serious thought until the few weeks leading up to my 35th birthday. I basically decided if I was ever going to try and make my dream a reality then the time is now. I hope it works out.
I guess that's about it for right now.
