Yea but some people had trouble with it and some actually failed it. But anyways just saying "thank god we didn't have to do that". The NYPD would probably in a recruiting crisis, because even in the good shape I'm in I'd probably have a hard time passing that.

me too, I don't see the point of being able to push the car though.

Well DUH, thats just in case you run out of gas. While you push, your partner can steer, lol. I dont know the point of it either but you never know.

or you can always call your buddy to come give you a push or a jump.

I am sorry but I really dont like those cargo pants for the NYPD ( they just look too baggy). That test is pretty intense, and the time limit is pretty scary also.

the JST was a joke, besides they let the losers that fail it have 5 opportunities to pass. Everyone passes behind closed doors from what I've seen to this point.

this test looks a bit more challenging I suppose, but shouldn't be a problem to most.

I don't like them neither, but my friend tells me when you're on a foot post those cargo pants come in handy.

You wear the regular pants for the academy and trust me, by the 3rd month you are going to wish you had cargo pants. You need to carry way too much stuff, especially when on foot patrol.

trust me, the regular pants will suck over time... the cargo pants have so much more room (crouch) than the regular admin pants... they're just much more comfortable...

The test itself doesn't look that bad, but the time is a killer, I bet...two minutes and change for all that. Still, there are parts of the JST that take up a lot of time (the reps on the stairs, for example) whereas everything in that video is basically "jump over it and go." So maybe two minutes and change isn't so impossible.
