This is a pretty good idea since nassau doesnt seem to give a list number. Never really know what your chances are of being called.

I just realized, that this could be misleading based on false/bogus answers. I haven't heard of a score in the hundreds yet, but someone indicates that is what they received.

You should have made the poll results public. Maybe pm a moderator to edit the poll.

you can easily get a 100. I got a 90.5 or 90.7 i dunno 90. something the paper is downstairs and if i get vets credits i would've been over a 100.

The list hasnt been established yet. They sent out scores to let everyone know how they did and to start processing for the high scorers. I got a 90.2 and if i have the chance ill kiss NYPD goodbye and never look back!!

Thats what I did lol. Done with doing the NYPD stuff. Now i'll just wait fr Nassau since I got the letter for the 17th. Had my oral pysch this thurs guess i'll be canceling that.

And for the person that said they got a 90 and if they had vet credits they woulda gotten over 100... Wrong. You get 5 points for vet credits then if you are a disabled vet you get another 5 points if you want to use them on the test. So that is a total of 10 if you are a disabled vet. I'm a disabled vet but i'm going to be using that other 5 points for if I do get on for Sgt's Exam which then I would only get an extra 2.5 points.

I was wondering if maybe you would get a higher score based on your age, and past experiences, it seems that most of the younger people on the forum did okay while most of the older people or people who are vet's or cops did a lot better. Dunno if it holds any weight but just a thought

My suggestion to you is do not cancel anything you have written in stone so far. If you have appointments with possible future employment with another agency, it would be in your best interest not to cancel or jeopardize losing an opportunity that has presented itself, just because you want one agency in particular.

I've heard that NCPD is extremely selective even for those that attained perfect scores on their exams. That goes back to the saying, "don't put all your eggs in one basket." When it comes to law enforcement these days, its highly competitive and could almost be viewed as a luck of the draw even if you did well on the exam.

Regardless, Good Luck to you and make sure you think about everything before rendering a decision to cancel any appts with NYPD, etc.

Hope this helps.

what i think is funny about this test is everyone seemed to think they did great until these results came out and i thought i did terrible and somehow ended up with a 89.339 meanwhile i thought i aced the suffolk test and got a 72.5 go figure. who the hell knows how they grade these tests.

68??? He probably has a 180 IQ. These tests are such a joke. If you think you did well, it's because your answers made sense when you filled them out. That's where you went wrong. If you chose the most ridiculous answers, you probably scored high.

Scored 86.484 here. I just heard someone that graduated in the most recent NCPD Academy class got in with an 82 or 82.5 without veterans credits. That's pretty good because prior to hearing that I thought they only got down to 84's.
Good Luck everyone !

For those of us that did well, does anyone know what the physical or physiological requirements are like? Is there a minimum number of push-ups or sit-ups, or is there a weight standard? Like the military.
