My question is will they pay to fly me out or will I have to get myself there. I had an interview with DOE office of Secure Transport and they flew me out. Just wanted to know so I can start planning.

No, they will not pay for your trip to DC- travel to and from processing is at your expense. The only thing you will be reimbursed for as with most federal depts. in the DC area is your initial relocation should you be offered and accept a position.
