Need a job in law enforcement

Anyone know any Federal or State entities that may be hiring i am a Criminal Justice student working on my BA and i just got turned down by my local police department due me having family in the existing department.:mad::confused::o

thats unusual where i work- in my pd alone we have 3 sets of siblings and assorted cousins/uncles on the force- and fd is even worse

Curtis, there are countless agencies hiring right now. You are gonna have to be more specific. If you want a job in LE that bad, try them all. Somebody will pick you up. My advice is decide what you want to do, i.e. uniformed federal LE, 1811 LE, local PDs, state PDs/HPs. Then decide where you want to do it, and start applying.

Don't overlook some of the "other" LE jobs.

University police
fish and game LE
transit police
stuff like that...

If you need a job, and need one now.... they might not be where you want to end up, but if you can land a job, its better experience than working down at Taco Bell... and 99% of the time its good work with good people.
