If anyone can give me info on this I'd appreciate it. I was wondering what shots I need to take care of before I start the academy (LAPD)? I never heard anything about shots until I had my hair follicle sample taken and the nurse said I needed to have all my shots in order. Any info would help. Thanks.

I'm guessing the usual immunizations? You should definitely check with medical or personnel and get the info straight from the horses mouth.

In the academy they'll give you the Hepatitis B series and test you for TB.

Yes the hair sample was part of the drug screening.

Actually hair drug testing can trace any drug use back to normally 3 months and possibly 6 months or longer depending on the specialist.
