Narcotis Investigation, Need Help On Class

I am doing a 5 minute presentation on narcotics investigation. Any links on the process of narcotics investagation, more relating to Los Angeles areas police departments.

My instructor said that we can call our local PD and can interview the detectives. Is this possible?

Sure. Pick an agency, get on-line and bring the agency up. If they have a separate narcotic div, call them and ask to speak to a supervisor. If they don't have a separate div, call the detective bureau and ask for a supervisor. Let them know what you're doing and it could probably be done over the phone.
