View Full Version : Never Give Up!
i just want to say good luck and to keep going for all those still in the process of whatever agency/pd they are trying to get on- i just got hired by the agency i've been trying for 3+ yrs- i was also rejected the 1st time by them and x2 by the USSS, rejected by another agency as well- but this one i called every 6 mo. for more than 3 yrs till i got a second shot- so if you want it-make them reject you, dont give up-trust me i know how bad it sucks comign home checking the caller id everyday hoping to hear from an HR person, waiting weeks or months to hear back about the next step in the process- again, good luck to all- keep going

Wow, good stuff. LOL, I know what you mean about looking at the caller id to see the area code, hoping it's a DC area number. Other than some precious shower moments, I don't think I've felt any better during the process than when such a number pops up on my caller id!

Bain, I applied with DCIS back in Jan. I got a call from HR saying the application was recieved and sent to the regional office. I havent heard anything since. What was the process like for you? Should I call the Northeast Field Office to inquire about the status. I've heard good things about DCIS but you dont see alot of posts on the forums. Can you elaborate on the process from your experience? Also, what is your background/exp?
