Here’s a question for everyone.
There is a video circulating on the Internet of a man who appears to shoot himself in the head while in Police custody. Most of us have seen it, and it has been trotted out again by my organization for Officer safety training. The Subject of the video is a somewhat unkempt medium complexioned male, and the view point of the video seems to be from a camera mounted above the door. The door to the Interview room is left open throughout the video, and what I assume are the Subject’s personal articles are left on the counter in the room with him. A Male gives the guy a bottle of water, and he shoots himself a moment later.
Does anyone know the story for this? I would like to find the context and background to have better training value.
