Ocean City Beach Patrol television show

Has anyone been watching the Ocean City Beach Patrol television shows on TRUE TV? If so what are your thoughts about the show? I have watched it a few times and it seems like a good show. I have set my DVR so I can watch it when I have time.

I find it to be very interesting how some of the of the laws seem to to be more enforced than others. Also how some laws are very different on the East Coast than the West Coast. When I first watched the show I thought it was going to be like cops, but with bikinis. Thus far I'm surprised it's more reality and you get a cross mix of the EMS side of things to. Anyone else have any thoughts about the show?

Great show not a leo so I can't say how "real" it is. I remember when it first came out they followed life guards around more this time they follow leo's more.

It's a pretty good show, and I agree that some laws are enforced more than others, but it almost has to be that way.

If they were to crack down on everything and haul in everyone that had an open container, they'd lose a lot of their tourist attraction within a few years and work themselves out of a job.

The good thing to keep in mind is the letter of the law vs. the spirit of the law, and most everyone there has no intent to do harm, they're just having a good time. Make them break up the ice luge, pour out their alcohol, have a safe day, and leave it at that.

Are they taping this now in Ocean City, MD? If so, I haven't seen this version yet. I have seen Huntington Beach, Honolulu, etc.
