How do i set up a ride along? (miami area)

How do I set up a ride along in the miami area? Where do i go to sign up or who do i call?

I would imagine Miami-Dade has the same policy as all other police depts... I would call their main office and talk to someone. They'll probably tell you to head down to your local police station, fill out a waiver, and then turn it in. They'll do a background on you to make sure you're not a crazy person, and then you set up a date to ride.

Well, depends on which department you are referring to. City of Miami, you would have to go down to their Central Station to apply for a ride along. With Miami-Dade Police Department, you would have to go to one of their station to request a ride along. If you want action with Miami-Dade, apply at the Northside station. My first ride along with Miami-Dade, we had to serve a warrant with SRT.
