Does the department allow any brand of night sites on your duty weapon, or does it have to be a particular brand (e.g. trijicon)? I am wondering specifically if Truglo TFOs are allowed. The department does allow Crimson Trace laser grips, doesn't it?

I havent seen any specific policy on what brand of night sights you are allowed....most guys use the trijicons, but I have a few others....

Crimson trace grips are allowed....you have to go to a class to be able to use them....weapon lights have also just been allowed as well....

Does anyone else out there use night sites other than trijicons? If so, which ones?

I have the Mepro lights on my HK. And the Trijicons on my Sig. I have heard it said that the mepros are brighter, but in a dark room, I cant tell the difference.
