Hi, I'm a high school student doing some research on colorblindness and how it influences road accidents on an day to day basis. I found out I was colorblind some 5 years ago. Since then I've been playing with different ways to see how the downsides of colorblindness can be lowered.
I would very much love it if anyone here colorblind and helps me out with the following:
1) Let me know about your own experiences driving down the street and how colorblind affects the driving
2) If you were ticketed or in an accident, please tell me if you think colorblindness was a factor in this.
I just received my drivers license, and I am very happy that the U.S. does not check for colorblindness anymore for a normal driving license. Last year I represented the U.S. in the Internation Science and Engineering Fair held at Albuquerque for making a prototype model to help out people like me. I would very much appreciate you help
