Anyone know or have insight as to how fast things move after the poly?

Took the poly last week and passed..now just waiting for the next steps.

I'm sure most would agree that the waiting is the worst part.

Each agency's process is different and takes different amounts of time.

Just be patient. Its a hurry up and wait process.

Have you done the medical and Psych? You might be in the stage where they decide to hire you and put ur packet on the Chiefs desk. That can take few weeks because he mau not be in town. PM with the agency your applying for.

well is your backgrounds finished? nothing is going to happen until the background is completed. some agencies do the poly during or before the backgrounds.

I took my poly back in Oct. and my BI started to contact my references Jan. 2nd..... So I assume that all Depts are different. Look at the bright side of things, you have more time to train and get into better shape for the academy!!!!

Guess I knew all along that it's a waiting game but sometimes it's good to hear it from others. My backgrounds are still in the works and I'm sure they are good to go so I guess I'll just wait.

I'll keep up the PT and highly recommend sprints to anyone looking for running advice.
