I know, lame question. Curiosity, I guess...

Mine is vanilla. In the summer, I love a cherry vanilla gelati (a layer of soft serve vanilla ice cream, a layer of cherry water ice, then more ice cream). YUM!

Vanilla or any form of it (French vanilla, vanilla bean, cherry vanilla, peaches & creme). There is an ice cream place called Marble Slab, I think, that has a vanilla-like ice cream called Sweet Cream that is WONDERFUL!

Anything NOT Ben and Jerry's.

There is an interesting sidenote to the BJ story though......

A year or so back, Ben and Jerry sold out to Unilever (HUGE international conglomerate). Many folks however, still think that they are a quaint little ice cream maker in Vermont. B&J both made a fortune, and the company's commitment and contributions to causes of "social justice" will soon be a figment of Ben's imagination.

It's almost worth buying some now. Perhaps there can be a new flavor, like "Wesley Walnut" with VT maple and lots of nuts.

Fry Mumia!

Cherry nut. Here in Iowa, the best kind to get is Anderson/Erickson, or Blue Bunny brand.

I also love soft serve vanilla from Dairy Queen.

Vanilla with something chocolaty and peanut buttery in it. I just had something called Chubby Hubby. It is vanilla with peanut butter swirls and chocolate covered salty pretzels. Mmmmm, quite tasty.

My husband lost his job when Unilever bought out his company. A chosen few were given jobs but his 25 years with the company meant nothing, of course. As long as they have jobs, the h*** with anyone else. They simply do not care, bottomline. I will never buy anything that comes from Unilever.

I just discovered a new one. Perhaps it's really an old one I just came across. Chocolate cheesecake by Haagen-Dazs. It says "limited edition" on the carton, whatever that means.

If I hadn't kept thinking about the calories I could have eaten the whole pint after dinner tonight.

I thought the pint container was specifically made as a single serving? ;)

Me again

No, I didn't. The only thing that stopped me was remembering all the weeks of diet food and the 22 pounds I lost. I don't want to do that again.

You lost 22 lbs? If I lost that much, I'd be able to fit into my old pants! It's a losing battle for me, but I keep trying!

Now what flavor was I going to get tonight...

Mitzi, I'm sorry to hear about that. It was not my intent at all to promote Unilever, but rather to comment on the delicious irony of B&J selling out to the very thing that was anathema to their company's foundation. Anybody from New England will probably remember their "What's the Doughboy afraid of" campaign.

MeAgain, ChubbyHubby is a B&J product. Named with good reason, especially if you've ever seen Ben Cohen. He was recently in the hospital with heart problems - big surprise.

Just plain vanilla. I rather have it made into a malt though. So i don't know if that counts or not.

There used to be a small commercial dairy based at Cricket St Thomas in England. From which you could by small 1kg tubs of blackberry flavoured icecream made with the cream of jersey cows, fresh blackberry's and all natural ingriedients etc (very rich in cream).. this was the only brand of ice cream and only flavour besides black cherry that i actually like... and the ba$tard$ shut down their commercial enterprise!!!!!!!

FlLawdog, Atkins worked for me, But i combined metabolife with it because my willpower sucked. I lost 45 almost 50 lbs in 6 months and have kept it off so far. Good luck!

Found a new kind i might have liked had i got to taste it. Dreyers Dreamery New York Strawberrry cheesecake. But i thought the grocery store kept it when i went shopping and got home without it. Turns out my kids got all the bags out of the car and dropped the pint of icecream in the trunk. I opened it to see if i could salvage it but it was water. Darn, It costed me $3.29 :D

all I eat if any thing is what is available. Normally eat just vanilla if I eat icecream at all. I am not a sweets eater but looking at me you can not tell that.
