I am looking for a good, free, reliable site that will allow me to send messages to cell phones without knowing which carrier they are subscribed to. I had one some time ago, but now I can't seem to find it.

Before I found out that my cell phone (on Verizon) along with all of the phones on Verizon have two (maybe another for videos) email addresses: number@vtext.com/number@vpix.com, I used AOL Instant Messenger. With AIM, you can just send it to the number for free.

you can email the phone number by using this:

123-456-7890@teleflip.com

then add you message in the body of the email
