Windsor Airport????

I am hoping someone can help. I am coming into Windsor from Detroit to pick someone up from Windsor Airport. How does the security differ from the security for a U.S. Airport? Will I be able to go into the airport to find the person or have to wait outside? Any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated.

Ya, you can go inside and wait for the person you are picking up in the arrival area...If the Commissionaires bug ya (which they won't), just throw a can of chocolate flavoured "BOOST" a couple metres away, and watch the Commissionaires argue over who gets to drink the can of "BOOST"...

Nah, Airport Commissionaires are good guys, most of them are retired Police Officers...

Just sit back in the arrival area, and watch the 20-something year old girls welcome their other 20-something year old female friends coming home from a trip from somewhere, with girly tight hugs and "bar-lesbian kisses", and talk about how they will "like so get drunk and upload all their trip photo on facebook tonight"

No Pepper Spray or Tasers either...Pepper Spray is reserved for on-duty Peace Officers, and Tasers are reserved for Police Officers (and by Provincial policy, only Supervisory and ERU/ERT Police Officers can carry Tasers in Ontario)
