Seems like the mayor want to limit the issuance of Placards, would this impact you if you don’t receive one anymore?

I haven't received my 2008 placard, and still using my 2007 one. If they take my 2007 placard away without issuing me a 2008 one, then I won't be going to traffic court, and it will take me a year and a day to get to Criminal court since both of these places are pretty rough to get to by mass transit. Also, I'll be late for roll call almost everyday since parking is an issue at my precinct.

they took the cards back to include a line on it stating if you see this permit being misused please call 311.. due to the fact of some us when we are off duty we park at hydrants and bus stops when we go shopping or even at home

if not, then I really dont see how difficult it can be to take a couple trains. Its not what im saying that matter, just be prepared to hear that same thing from your bosses. They will throw the... you should leave a little earlier to get there on time speach.
