Does anyone have a definate start date for the next academy? I am hearing all different dates. Its killing me. :confused:

As of today, APD is saying Monday the 7th, with calls starting tomorrow and going until Sunday night. But, as usual, who the hell really knows.

I was told the same when I spoke to my investigator today.

I'm waiting for the call too. The only advice I can give is that no one knows for sure when the academy will start. It might be probably for Monday, but its not definate. (as is with all things in the NYPD.)

Ok, so I didn't make the Jan. 7th class, but I am hoping to get into the backfill class. I have to retake the JST because its been over a year since i took it and apparently it expired. Does anyone know what the time is you have to do it in? And, has anyone gotten a call or heard of a date for backfill?

The candidate JST time is 4:28. When in the academy, you gotta pass another JST in 3:32 and instead of a 6 ft. chain link fence, you gotta jump a 6 ft. wall.

Thanks BklynFinest, I think they dropped the time since last time i did it. Hopefully i will do well so i can possibly get in to backfill. What precint are you in? If you dont mind me asking.
