Orange County Police Test Results?

Hi All I am rookie to officers. com this is my first post. I am from Orange County NY. I took the police/deputy sherrif exam on November 17, 2007. I was curious does anyone know how long it take to get the results from the county exams, and once you pass what is the typical hiring process. i have already been through the process for NYPD,and NYSDOCS. I would greatly appreciate any info thanks.

I can't speak specifically for OC, but for other counties, results usually take 2-3 months to arrive in the mail.

Call the county civil service dept. They should be able to give you a better idication.
