Greetings all... I am a new member here and look forward to conversing with you all and learning what I can. I have been with the Sheriffs Office in Shawnee County for almost 10 years and spent the better part of that as a patrol officer. I am an instructor for our agency in several subjects and stay busy working with the community.
I have spent many an evening perusing the forums and now hope to interact with the members here to get some new ideas on policing.
I am originaly from SW Missouri, so "Hey" to all the MO officers....

Nothing wrong with the Ichabods! Of course if that's a Missouri NW Bearcat then I can see why the Bods are on your bad side! You guys have an awesome football team though. You usually get us there but there's always next year!

Welcome aboard. I'm a former SEK cop. I went to DRE school with a Dep. from Shawnee County back in 2000 but for the life of me I can't remember his name. I've got a good friend with TPD still.

Yep I'll be making the rounds. I start on the 14th so that gives me about 3 weeks to get my feet under me before I ship out.

Simon, yes that was him. It is definitely cold and snowy, but the wind blows a lot less here.
